Membership
Being
a member of the
Elmbridge Choir or the Elmbridge Ladies Choir is a work of love and
just needs your time and
dedication. It doesn't require anyone to have a trained
voice, or singing certificates and diplomas - even if you have never
sung before, but have a burning desire to sing - you're welcome!
Although our
mixed-voice community choir has already reached 130 members
and
our ladies choir numbers just over 40 ladies - new
members, experienced or
not, are always welcome, but sometimes we have to limit the
numbers.
We do not
audition - so just complete the registration
form to join either of our choirs - and if you're not on a
waiting list, just turn up at our
rehearsals - We can
assure you of a warm and lasting welcome!

Our Mission
Our mission is to bring people together from all
walks of life who all share the same passion - singing!
Whether
it's folk songs, modern pop, contemporary or any other form of
musical expression, our voices will blend in unison and harmony to
produce sounds that will not only ignite our own souls, but delight and
inspire those that hear us! Listen
to samples of our music here
We aim to
introduce adults of all ages to the skills, techniques and enjoyment of
choral singing.
In doing what
we love best,
we aim to help charities across a broad spectrum raise funds,
and
with few exceptions our concerts are always dedicated to a worthy
cause.
We hope that
you will find these pages interesting and informative.

Fan
spotlight!
Liz bakes a cake and treats the choir!
If ever there's was an award for a faithful fan, then Liz Renaud has
truly earned it.
Liz
has been gracing every single one of our concerts for the last two
years and to celebrate our 3rd birthday, she turned up unexpectedly at
one of our rehearsals and brought us three large home baked chocolate
cakes...

Our
original, first logo
On 6 September 2005 when the choir first launched, our logo looked very
different to what it is today. It's become somewhat of a collector's
item, so here is our artistic original logo for all those that
asked!

Our Choir
trip to Prague
Recently 132 members and friends of the choir went on a 4-day trip to
Prague,
where we particpated in the Prague International Advent Festival.
Read all about the few days we spent there are seen through the eyes of
one of our long-standing members, June Byrne.
This was the first overseas trip for the choir and took place in
December 2008.
